Success!!

I DID IT I FINISHED A PROJECT!

Well, mostly. I need to frame it and ship it out, but I finished making it.

This project was originally intended to be a Christmas present, ha. In any case, many D&D sessions later, it's done! I learned a lot about cross stitch. I love the possibilities it has--there are patterns for almost everything in cross stitch--but I like the creativity of embroidery a bit more. The lovely pattern is by BlondeBoxshell on etsy.

It was so nice to see something finished, oh my gosh.

Knitting!

So a couple of years ago, I learned how to spin yarn with a Turkish drop spindle. A couple of months ago, I finally finished spinning the roving I had, and started knitting something with it!
And then I stalled. When I hit a scary point in a project, I conveniently forget about it. And I had to switch from one ball of yarn to the next. But, today I decided I was done having it sit in a basket growing old, and after a couple of tries, I did it! I don't know what to do with the ends or anything, but I'll cross that bridge later!
